The Reality Tells Two Education Systems in Pakistan

Education is the utmost necessity of life and for the success of any nation. The education system of Pakistan is not as much strong and stable as of other developing countries all over the globe and that is one being reason for which Pakistan is still considered as developing nation even after 69 years of independence. The education system in Pakistan is being overlooked and monitored by the government’s ministry of education on both the provincial and federal level. In the constitution of Pakistan under the Article 25-A, the ruling government is liable to provide free and quality and up to standard education to the students who fall in the age group 5 to 16 years.

Today Pakistan is facing a number of problems i.e. poverty, anxiety, terrorism, sectarianism and many more and the reason of all these problems is lack of awareness, patience and illiteracy which are created by ineffective educational system. The vital role and importance of education system is largely mistreated in Pakistan. There are also some other factors dependable for instability in Pakistan but education is the vital one. Education system of Pakistan is facing some somber problems. Through, 70 years have been past and twentieth  policies and actions planned have been introduced yet the education sector which are still waiting for solution of its problem i.e. multiple system of education, lacking of sufficient funds, insufficient physical and other facilities, poor examination system, dropouts, low enrollment rate, discrepancy are major one.

Pakistan is amongst those countries  which are going through many problems of education.there are many flaws , errors in the current education system of Pakistan that need to be resolved. Pakistan is among those developing countries where people are mostly deprived of good quality education. In Pakistan educational system doesn’t meet the international standards.

The main problem is inequality between public and private or some army education sector of Pakistan. From the last few year there has been an increase in the growth of private schools which have caused discrimination among students. Regional disparity   is another problem. Students who learn in private schools are more knowledgeable than students of Government Schools.

Majority Schools of Baluchistan and another province are not as groomed as that of Punjab or big cities like Karachi, Lahore Islamabad etc. Technical education is not given to that level which is required. Educational funds are very low and corruption is very high. Ghost schools, Teachers and untrained teachers cause flaws in the education system of Pakistan. All these issues contribute to high illiteracy rate in Pakistan.
Government has to take solid steps to remove the flaws and as well corruption in our educational system.
